Project Potomac

Project Potomac (Working Title) is a 2D Top-Down strategy game set in the eastern theatre of the American Civil War. 

You can choose to either play as the United States of America under the command of President Abraham Lincoln, or you can choose to play as the rebellious Confederate States of America under President Jefferson Davis. 

The goal of the game, for either side, is to lead your nation to victory against the other. Throughout the game, you will collect Victory Points, which are earned through won battles and conquered provinces and lost through the lost territory and lost battles. Victory Points can be spent to enhance the fighting power of your army. Each nation will start with a set amount of victory points at the start of the game, and the way to lead a nation to victory is to cause the other to run completely out of Victory Points. If you have zero Victory Points, you lose.
